Olga Restaurant Bread 4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
Combine all (after dissolving yeast in water). Knead together for a few minutes
and allow to rise once. Divide into about 10 pcs. Roll out on a floured board,
into thin rounds. Bake in a heavy, dry skillet for a few seconds on each side. I
heat an iron skillet on medium high for several minutes. Flip the breads after a
few seconds and only lightly browned spots appear. If you cook too long, it will
be too crisp to fold. |
