The amount of time it takes to cook
beef depends on a number of factors: cut, size, thickness, temperature, whether
the meat is bone-in or boneless, and whether it is lean or fatty. The best way
to ensure that beef is properly cooked is to use a meat thermometer.
Sauteing: Many cuts of steak can be sauteed. Spray a nonstick pan with nonstick
cooking spray or brush with olive oil and get the pan good and hot. Cook the
steak on both sides to the desired degree of doneness.
Grilling: Beef on the barbecue, be it hamburger or steak, is a quick summer
meal. Cook steak on both sides to desired degree of doneness. Cook burgers until
cooked through.
