Company Turkey Casserole
1 8 ounce package noodles
1 pound ground turkey
3 tablespoons butter
16 ounces tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup cottage cheese
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup thick sour cream
1/2 cup grated onion
Cook noodles, brown turkey in 3 T. butter, stir in tomato sauce. Remove from
heat and add other ingredients; mix well. Pour into 2 quart casserole dish and
bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Pour melted butter over before serving. Serves 9.
Notes: The original recipe calls for ground beef but it's just as good with
turkey.
