Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting

2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
2 1/4 c. light brown sugar packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Cream butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, and vanilla; beat well.

Sift dry ingredients and a alternately with water on low speed.

Beat just until well blended.

Pour batter into well greased and floured cake pan.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Frost when cool.

Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting
6 tbls. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter in a small mixer bowl.

Add cocoa and sugar alternately with milk. Beat to spreading consistency.

Blend in vanilla.

Makes 2 Cups frosting
