Never add water to melting chocolate unless directed to in a recipe. Water does not cause chocolate to become more liquid, instead it will seize and prevent it from smoothing out. If chocolate is too thick, add a very small amount of vegetable oil.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pie

1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

1/2 C. margarine

3 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate

1 C. sugar

1/3 C. light corn syrup

1 t. vanilla extract

1/4 t. salt

1/4 C. flour

3 eggs, slightly beaten

Whipped topping and/or vanilla ice cream for garnish
