3 boxes frozen chopped
spinach (thawed and drained well)
1 bunch green onions (chopped)
2 lbs. domestic feta
8 oz. cottage cheese
1 box filo (phyllo)
1 stick butter (melted)
1/2 bunch dill (chopped)
Mix feta, cottage cheese, eggs and dill in a large bowl. Set aside.
Sauté onions and spinach in 2 Tbsp. butter until onions are soft.
When cool mix egg mixture with spinach mixture.
Brush some butter on bottom of a 9x13 inch pan, add 10 filo leaves buttering
between each sheet.
Fill with spinach mixture.
Add another 10 filo leaves.
Cut into 2x2" pieces.
Bake at 350° until top is browned, about 1 hour.
