Attach a recipe card with the following
instructions:
Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
Empty jar of cookie mix into a bowl.
Add 3/4 C. butter or oleo, 1 egg and 1 t. vanilla.
Mix until completely blended.
Shape into balls and place 2 inches apart on sprayed baking sheets.
Bake at 375°F. for 13 - 15 minutes.
Yield: 2 1/2 dozen cookies

Chocolate Cranberry Cookies Mix in a Jar
Layer the following in a quart canning jar in this order:
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. cocoa (add this one carefully, wipe the sides of the jar if you have to)
1 1/2 C. dried cranberries
1 C. chocolate chips
1 3/4 C. flour + 1 t. baking powder + 1/2 t. baking soda (mixed)
Remember to press firmly between each layer.
