Beef Tips over Noodles
1 lb beef
round, bottom round, cut into pieces
1 pkg onion soup mix
1/2 c red wine
1/2 c water
3 T flour (all
purpose) Wondra is best
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 quart noodles, cooked
Brown the beef chunks in a nonstick skillet. Turn them into a casserole and add
the mushrooms. Measure the wine and the water together. Stir in the Wondra
flour, pour over the beef and mushrooms. Cover and bake at 350 until the beef is
tender and 1 1/2 hours.
