This recipe comes from Tom and
Delores Lovensheimer.
They got this recipe in the late 40's from the Lazarus Department Store
in Ohio.

Lazarus Mexican Beef
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. dried beef torn in small pieces
1/2 lb. grated American cheese
1/4 C. pimentos chopped
1/2 C. salad dressing
1/2 C. canned tomatoes chopped
Dice and fry the bacon until crisp. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a
small casserole dish and mix well.
Bake at 400°F. until the cheese is melted. Blend the bacon thoroughly in the
mixture.
Serve on cheese bread if you can find it.
