Yam And Potato Salad

4 white potatoes, peeled and halved

4 sweet potatoes, peeled and halved

1 bunch green onions, sliced

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

3 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

salt and pepper, to taste

Boil potatoes and yams until fork tender.

drain potatoes, rinse in cold water, then dice.

Put potatoes in a large bowl.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Add more mayonnaise and sour cream if desired
