Fudgy Macaroons

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup evaporated milk

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

1 pkg.(6 oz) chocolate or butterscotch morsels

1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups cornflakes

1-1/4 cups coconut

1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix sugar, milk and butter and cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil two minutes more stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and add chocolate or butterscotch morsels and vanilla.

Stir until morsels melt. Blend in cornflakes, coconut and nuts. Drop by Tbsp. onto waxed paper.

Let stand until set.
