Let your imagination guide you in
choosing toppings for your pizza. Here are some combinations that maximize
flavor. Add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
Basil, tomato, mozzarella
Olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, fontina, parsley
Pancetta, gorgonzola, caramelized onions
Sauteed green onions and chopped green olives
Barbecue Chicken Pizza
1 1/2 C. cooked chicken, cubed
3/4 C. diced yellow onion or shredded green onions
1/2- 3/4 C. your favorite barbecue sauce
1 prepared pizza crust
2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Heat a well-oiled (preferably with olive oil) nonstick skillet over medium-high
heat. Brown the chicken in the oil, remove and set aside. Saute the onions in
the same skillet until tender.
Spread the barbecue sauce over the crust. Add the cubed chicken and onions. Top
with shredded mozzarella. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or according to pizza
