Hot Macadamia Dip
11 oz. (one 8-oz. and one 3-oz. package) cream cheese, softened
2 T. milk
1 jar (2 1/2 oz) dried chipped beef, shredded
1/3 C. finely chopped onion
1/3 C. finely chopped bell pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 t. ground ginger
3/4 C. sour cream
1/2 C. coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1 T. butter
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine cream cheese and milk, blending until completely
smooth. Stir in chipped beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic, pepper, and ginger.
Fold in sour cream. Pour mixture into a glass pie plate or shallow baking dish.
In a small skillet, saute nuts in butter until thoroughly glazed. Sprinkle nuts
mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes or until heated through. Serve hot with crackers.
