Hearty Beef Stew

1 pound beef stew meat
1 tablespoon oil
12 ounces small red potatoes, quartered (2c)
4 medium carrots, sliced
10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup beef broth
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
9 ounces frozen cut green beans

Brown meat in oil. Place potatoes and carrot in crockpot with meat. Combine all but green beans and mix into crockpot. Stir in green beans cook on low for 8-10 hours.
