Quick Skillet Macaroni

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon shortening
2 cups hot water
1 16 ounce can tomatoes, cut in bite pieces
1/4 cup Heinz 57 sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
dash of pepper
1 cup elbow macaroni

Brown beef and onions in shortening. Drain off excess fat.

Stir in water and next 5 ingredients.

Add macaroni and mix well. Bring mixture to a boil. Then reduce heat to low.

Simmer uncovered 15 to 20 minutes. Stir occasionally until macaroni is tender.

Garnish with minced parsley, if desired.
