We used to eat ham loaf a lot when we
were growing up. Fix a pot of escalloped potatoes to go with the ham loaf. It's
really yummy! |

Ham Loaf
1 1/4 lbs. ground ham
1 1/4 lbs. ground pork
1 C. cracker or bread crumbs
1 C. milk
1/2 C. chopped onion
2 beaten eggs
1/2 C. green or red pepper, chopped
In a large mixing bowl, combine ingredients. Put in a pan. Bake about 1 hour at
350°F. Internal temperature should be 165°F.
Note: You can vary the proportion of ham and pork.
