Texas Cattle Feeders Association
represents the cattle feeding industry in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Known
as Cattle Feeding Country, this area is the largest cattle feeding region in
America and annually markets more than 7 million fed cattle--30% of the nation's
fed cattle production.
Cattle feeding in the TCFA area is a $5.5 billion industry, making it a
significant part of the region's economy. By the time that money circulates
through the hands of the people and businesses in the region, the total economic
impact is $15.5 billion. |

Burt's Beef
Here's the recipe Burt sent me:
Being a fairly basic guy, I prefer my beef
unadorned. Thus, my recipes are pretty simple - put it on a grill, add salt and
pepper (onion and garlic powder/salt if I'm feeling particularly adventurous),
and cook no more than medium. A baked potato (preferably baked in a real oven,
not a microwave) and a salad are nice accessories.
