Bar 15 Simmental and Stevick Angus Ranch

We raise Purebred Simmental and Angus cattle in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in the very Southwest corner of Alberta, Canada. This is the home of the World's Best Beef, Pincher Creek, Alberta.

Maple Marinated Steak

1.5 - 2 lbs. lean flank or inside round steak

Marinade:

1 C. maple syrup

2 T. soy sauce

2 T. lemon juice

4 T. white vinegar

2 T. red wine vinegar

1 t. salt

1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper

1 garlic clove minced

Place steak in a shallow dish and pour thoroughly mixed marinade ingredients over top. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Remove steak. Barbecue steak until desired doneness. Heat marinade in microwave  or on stove to boiling.

Cutting across the grain, cut steaks in very thin slices. Place in a large dish covered with the heated marinade.

Serves 4 - 6
