Located 35 miles west of Boise in the southwest corner of Idaho, Shaw Cattle Company headquarters are home to horned and polled Herefords and Black & Red Angus. This Ranch consists of river bottom pasture ground with plenty of irrigation water and a long growing season.

 

Stir Fry Pie

Have pie crust made for a double crust pie. Line 9 inch pie plate with bottom crust. 

Grate 1 C. medium cheddar cheese and 1 C. mozzarella cheese and set aside.

Brown and drain:

2 lbs. hamburger...set aside

Stir fry together:

1 large green pepper chopped

1 onion chopped

2 small zucchini diced

season with salt and pepper to taste

Mix together with hamburger and add:

1 large chopped up tomato

mushrooms chopped

Layer hamburger/vegetable mixture in pie plate, adding 1/2 of both cheeses. Layer the rest of the meat mixture and top with the last of the cheese.

Put on top pie crust - cut vent holes in top. Bake at 35°F. for 35 - 40 minutes. Let set 10 minutes before serving.

You can add any vegetables you like or pour picante sauce over the top of each slice before serving.
