Dried cherries are a new way to enjoy

Dried tart cherries, leaf lettuce or fresh spinach and a simple vinaigrette
dressing make an eye-appealing salad that weight watchers will appreciate.
Sprinkle dried tart cherries over yogurt, fruit salad or ice cream.
Wake up your taste buds by adding dried tart cherries to oatmeal. Either cook
them with the oatmeal or sprinkle on top just before serving.

Salad with Blue Cheese and Dried Cherries
1/2 head Romaine lettuce torn into bite size pieces
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce torn into bite size pieces
1/2 C. blue cheese crumbled
1/2 C. dried cherries
1 small red onion thinly sliced
1/2 C. walnuts chopped
Dressing:
2 T. Dijon mustard
1/2 C. olive oil
1/2 C. white wine vinegar
2 - 3 cloves garlic minced
Whisk dressing ingredients together. Combine salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Lightly toss with dressing and serve on individual salad plates.
