You can add more or less paprika,
according to your taste. You could also leave out the potatoes and serve over
noodles. |

Crock Pot Beef Paprikosh
2 lbs. beef stew meat
5 large carrots cut in 1 inch pieces
6 large potatoes cut in 1 inch cubes
2 medium onions cut thinly
5 T. paprika
4 T. flour
1 C. beef broth and enough water to cover the vegetables
salt and pepper to taste
Layer the vegetables on the bottom of the crockpot.
Mix the paprika and flour together. Sprinkle it on the beef. Brown the beef in
oil in small batches. Add beef to the crockpot on top of the vegetables. Add the
beef broth to the pan and scrape up the bottom of the pan. Add to the crockpot.
Add enough water to cover the vegetables. Cover the cooker and turn it on to
high. Cook for 8 hours on high.
Serves 6 - 8.
