Chocolate Peanut Brittle
2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips
2 Tblsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and boil to hard crack stage (300º) without
stirring.
Remove from heat & quickly stir in chocolate chips,
butter, vanilla and peanuts.
Pour quickly onto buttered cookie
sheet.
When cool, break into pieces.
