sugar over the cookies while on the cookie sheet. |

Molasses Butterballs
1 C. butter
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
1/4 C. molasses
2 1/4 C. flour
2 C. finely chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325°F.
In a large mixing bowl beat butter until soft. Add brown sugar and molasses and
beat until fluffy. Add flour and beat until well blended. Stir in pecans.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, 2 inches
apart. Bake 18 - 20 minutes.
Roll in confectionary sugar while still hot.
Yield: 4 1/2 dozen cookies
