1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 stick melted butter or oleo
1 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 c. Cool Whip
2 small packages instant chocolate pudding
2½ c. milk
1 chocolate bar, grated
Mix walnuts, butter and flour. Press into 9-by-13-inch pan and bake at 350
degrees for 20 minutes; let cool.
Mix powdered sugar with softened cream cheese; add Cool Whip,
mix and spread over the crust.
Mix pudding and milk and spread on top of cream cheese layer;
let sit in refrigerator until firm. Cover with additional Cool Whip. Sprinkle
grated chocolate on top.
(Note: Substitute lemon or other
flavors of pudding for chocolate. If you do that, use chopped walnuts to
sprinkle on top instead of the grated chocolate bar.)
