Adobo Sauce
Of Mexican origin, this dark-red, rather piquant sauce (or paste) is made from
ground chiles, herbs and vinegar. It's used as a marinade as well as a serving
sauce. Chipotle chilies are often marketed packed in adobo sauce. |
