  4. Using an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese until completely smooth and free of lumps, gradually adding of granulated sugar and vanilla extract while mixing.
  5. Incorporate eggs one at a time, gently mixing after each addition until just blended, being careful not to overmix which can cause the cheesecake to crack.
  6. Carefully pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared graham cracker crust, using a spatula to ensure an even distribution.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 55 minutes, watching for the center to be almost set but still slightly jiggly when gently shaken.
