Hamburger Noodle Casserole
3 oz egg
noodles (2 1/4 C)
1 can cream something soup
1/2 C sour cream
1/2 C milk
1/2 C thinly sliced celery
2 Tbsp chopped pimento
1 Tbsp parsley
1 lb hamburger, cooked
1/4 tsp dried basil or caraway seed
Crumbs (choose one):
a) 3/4 C soft bread crumbs
b) 3/4 C coarsely crushed tortilla chips
c) 1/2 C finely crushed saltines
d) 1/2 C finely crushed round crackers
In large saucepan cook and drain noodles, set aside.
In large bowl combine soup, sour cream and milk. Add celery, pimento and
parsley. Stir in cooked noodles, meat and seasonings, combining well.
Turn mixture into 2 qt casserole.
Combine crumbs and paprika and toss with melted butter, then sprinkle over
