I love to can foods. There is just
something about seeing the jars on the counter when you are finished. Plus, it
tastes great!
I have been canning for over 25 years. It all started with a pickled beets
recipe from a very dear lady in West Virginia.
When summer produce is plentiful, buy what you think you can do that day. When
you can, you want your produce to be the freshest it can be. Store your jars in
a cool, dry area.
